2025-26 PTSO Membership Registration
We encourage all families to become members of the MMS PTSO! Members will be kept in-the-know with access to newsletters, volunteer opportunities, student directory, event calendar, and yearbook snapshot slideshows. Membership dues are $25 per family, and will go directly back into developing new programs and supporting our students and staff.

8th Grade Students & Families: Mark Your Calendar for the Upcoming Elective Fair!
This event is open to all students entering the 9th grade next school year (2026-2027) and will feature the following opportunities for information:

Elective Fair 6-8:00 in the Upper Gym

This is the MAIN EVENT and will be open for parents and students to walk around at their own pace for the duration of the evening event.

Special Showtimes/ Discussions have also been planned that are specifically geared to answer Frequently Asked Questions:

Planning Ahead with NAI School Counselors in the Auditorium

Stop by this special showtime to hear our NAI School Counselors discuss the different pathways and planning ahead for your high school course sequence(s). This will begin at 6:20 in the auditorium.

Core Content Conversation with Department Chairs in the Auditorium

This will begin at 7:00pm. Department Chairs in Math, English, Social Studies, Science, and World Language will discuss the different “levels” of each class so parents/ students can make informed decisions. They will also discuss acceleration and “Right Student- Right Course.” (Time 7:00- 7:40).

Beattie Tech Overview
-
A representative from AW Beattie will be here at 5:30 to share an overview of Beattie and their programming. This is a curricular extension that is offered once students begin their 10th grade year. This is geared towards current 9th grade students, but all interested families are welcome to attend. (Time 5:30-6:00 pm)

School Counselors will be available all evening outside of the main office to answer all scheduling questions that you may have.
Shuttles will be available starting at 5:30pm in Carson Middle School’s parking lot and will run until 8:15 pm. Please begin to review our scheduling website. This site will continue to be updated until January 20th.
Attention 8th Grade Girls! Register Now for the 2026 G.O.L.D!
Registration is now open for this year's G.O.L.D. Program - Girls Only Leadership Development!
G.O.L.D. is an annual North Allegheny District event offered exclusively to 8th grade girls. G.O.L.D. provides an incredible opportunity to build leadership skills, meet new friends across the district and participate in fun team-building activities.

Next MMS PTSO Meeting - January 16th at 9:30am
The MMS PTSO meets at 9:30am in the school library, every other month starting in September. All are welcome, including younger siblings, not yet of school age. We would love for you to join us!
Can't make a meeting? We will post the minutes subsequent to each meeting. Please check them out!
Purchase Your MMS Yearbook!
Yearbooks will go on sale September 1st and may be purchased at any time, even after the school year is over. We will not be ordering any extra books, so if you would like one, please make sure to place an order. Additionally, books must be ordered by April 15th to guarantee end of year delivery to your student's classroom. Books ordered subsequent to that date may be shipped directly to your home after the school year ends.
When ordering, please make sure to list your student's homeroom, so that we know where to deliver the book. And don’t forget that you may customize the first 2 pages of your student’s yearbook for free! Please take advantage of this unique opportunity!
