2026-27 PTSO Membership Registration Will Open August 1st
We encourage all families to become members of the MMS PTSO! Members will be kept in-the-know with access to newsletters, volunteer opportunities, student directory, event calendar, and yearbook snapshot slideshows. Membership dues are $25 per family, and will go directly back into developing new programs and supporting our students and staff.

Summer Reading Challenge & Battle of the Books!
The NA Middle Schools Book-Tac-Toe Summer Reading Challenge is back! Students will read a book that meets the category on the Book-Tac-Toe board and fill in the title and author on their form. Each completed square equals an entry to win prizes! Fill out the information on the back and submit the paper to the library upon returning to school in the fall.
Thinking about joining the NASD Middle Schools Battle of the Books next year? Titles nominated for the Mountain Laurel Book Award (formerly known as the PA Young Readers’ Choice Award) that are highlighted in yellow on this list will be part of the Battle of the Books reading list in the fall. All titles are available in the Sora app, located in the TigerID dashboard.
Book-Tac-Toe papers are available in the library now through the last day of school! (A digital copy can also be downloaded.) More guidelines and information are available on the MMS Library Summer Reading page. Reach out to Mrs. Deer with any questions.
Next MMS PTSO Meeting - September '26 (Date TBD)
The MMS PTSO meets at 9:30am in the school library, every other month starting in September. All are welcome and if you can't make a meeting, please check out the minutes we post. Look for next school year's meeting dates to come!

Purchase Your MMS Yearbook!
Yearbooks will go on sale September 1st and may be purchased at any time, even after the school year is over. We will not be ordering any extra books, so if you would like one, please make sure to place an order. Additionally, books must be ordered by April 15th to guarantee end of year delivery to your student's classroom. Books ordered subsequent to that date may be shipped directly to your home after the school year ends.
When ordering, please make sure to list your student's homeroom, so that we know where to deliver the book. And don’t forget that you may customize the first 2 pages of your student’s yearbook for free! Please take advantage of this unique opportunity!
