NA Middle Schools Battle of the Books is Back!

MMS students can form teams of 3-5 friends to read 8 books, selected from the PA Young Reader’s Choice List, over the next few months. Then, they will compete in a night of book trivia against other teams from CMS, IMS, & MMS on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, from 6-8pm. (NASD location TBD). Parent/guardian sponsorship is not required, aside from transporting your child to the event. Families are invited to stay and celebrate their participant on the night of the competition.

To prepare for the event, students may meet with teammates during Activity Periods in the MMS Library. Each student may choose to read all 8 books or divide them amongst their teammates. Multiple copies of each book are available in the MMS Library, and both audiobooks and eBooks are available through TigerID on the Sora app.

Sign-ups are available on the MMS Library Blackboard page. All interested students must sign up with their team by October 31. Please contact Mrs. Deer with any questions.
